Organizing is absolutely something you could do on your own.

But doing it on your own takes time, energy and know-how. And when it’s all up to you, it’s so easy for life to get in the way. Like, your career?! Or running around after your kids (another full-time job!)

Not to mention you’d much rather spend your free time dreaming about your next vacation or putting your feet up with a glass of bubbly.

And say you do finally get time to tackle that space. You might find yourself standing there looking at all your stuff - frozen - not knowing where to even begin.

Hi, I’m Victoria - and because I value efficiency so much, I’ll get straight to the point.

Hiring professional organizers may feel like a luxury…

…But when you do the math, all that stuff is probably costing you more than you think.

Paying for extra storage, wasting time searching for things, taking the time to clean around the clutter or just dealing with the mental load of looking around a chaotic room - it all adds up.

And you deserve to feel instantly at ease when you walk into your space. It is, after all, where you spend most of your time. So shouldn’t it reflect how you want to feel?

Last time I checked, no one enjoys the chaos that comes from being disorganized.

And I don’t mean creating pristine rooms you feel you can’t live in.

I’m talking about being intentional about what you own and putting systems in place that make it easy for you to hit ‘reset’ whenever you need to.

Organizing: A new way to give care

Before taking the big leap into entrepreneurship, I worked in different pediatric departments all over the country.

But did it light me up? No

Even as a nurse, I couldn’t resist organizing the trauma rooms before a code came in.

What can I say? When I’m organizing I’m in my happy place.

So when it was time for my youngest to start Kindergarten, I took the opportunity to finally launch my dream business. Now I bring my caregiving sensibilities to every Sorted project.

Since 2019, my amazing team and I have been creating calm, organized, joy-filled spaces for New Orleanians - because as Dana Claudat says,

  • KATIE ABADIE

    LEAD ORGANIZER

    Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, Katie moved to New Orleans after meeting her now husband on a cruise. With a degree in Interior Design, Katie brings her skills and love for beautiful design to every Sorted project. Her favorite spaces to organize are closets and pantries. When she’s not organizing, find her at a crawfish boil with friends, or diving into a DIY project - like chalk painting her bedroom furniture to give it a new look!

  • KRISTEN CROMLEY

    LEAD ORGANIZER

    We’ve always felt the Sorted Team is like a family, but now it really is! Kristen, Katie’s sister, joins us with her love of great design and efficient organization. As a “serious foodie and pretty decent cook”, her fave space to organize is the pantry. Travel is her number-one hobby, and a nice, fresh Philly roll with yum-yum sauce never fails to excite her. Harley, her “handsome man” keeps her busy as a proud dog mom when she’s not transforming disorderly rooms into spaces of serenity.

  • JESSICA PHAN

    ORGANIZER

    A pharmacist by trade, Jessica lends her eye (and hands!) to precision and detail in every house she helps to organize with the Sorted crew. She believes creating an ambience of comfort and tranquility is an important part of maintaining sound mind and body - and we have to agree! When she’s home, Jessica enjoys traversing NOLA with her dog Parker, practicing her supine cross-twist, and growing all kinds of plants from seed. And when she’s traveling, find her zipping around the Cook Islands by motorcycle or befriending Buddhist monks in Thailand.

  • RENEÈ KAUFMAN

    ORGANIZER

    Helping friends and family optimize their spaces is what Renee’s always done best. So when she heard about Sorted, she jumped at the chance to join the team. When she’s not supporting our clients with her innate organizing skills, she loves visiting her kids & grand-babies. And anywhere with a beach has her name on it! On the weekends find her dining at Pascal Manale’s with her friends - you’re lucky if she saves you some of the Shrimp Diavalo. Yum!

  • LAURIE GARDNER

    ORGANIZER

    As a veteran music teacher of 31 years, Laurie brings immeasurable creativity and logic to her role at Sorted - a perfect combo for organizing if we do say so ourselves. For Laurie, watching the sense of relief and happiness spread across our clients’ faces post-project is an absolute blast! In her free time, she’s devouring the latest Ruth Ware novel, riding her bike along the levee, or hiking in Colorado with her husband and their black lab, Shadow.

    TEAM SUPPORT

    When Ashton’s not supporting the Sorted Team behind the scenes - ensuring our projects run smoothly, with everything we need to create organized bliss for our clients - you can find her painting in her studio off the Lafitte Greenway. One of Ashton’s favorite quotes goes, “Your home should tell the story of who you are and be a collection of what you love.” We happen to agree. And when she’s feeling nostalgic for childhood she loves indulging in cheddar goldfish crackers & lemonade. What a perfect combo!

“Victoria and her team not only improved my family’s quality of life, they became part of our family. Victoria and I clicked from the first phone call. I felt like she truly understood me. She made me feel so comfortable. 

My family was preparing to move back to our recently renovated home. I still owned an absurd amount of clothes from 20-plus years ago and enough kitchen equipment to start a restaurant. These items were stored between our rental home and two separate storage units. I had no idea how much we owned until the Sorted team organized and laid it all out in front of me. Wow. It was A LOT to see! But, I actually felt like I was shopping at a cute boutique in my own home. It didn’t feel like work. They did all of the work and they made it fun!

Prior to meeting Victoria, I felt stressed and overwhelmed about the process of decluttering on my own. Where do I begin? What do I keep? How do I make it look organized in my beautiful new home? My Sorted friends did it ALL! And it felt great to donate truckloads to those in need.

I had high expectations of Victoria… she far surpassed them. My entire kitchen, bar, pantry, and master closet look like they belong in a magazine. These areas are not only functional, they are beautiful. The Sorted team created a process that’s so easy for me to maintain. 

I don’t waste food anymore. I can find everything. I utilize all of my clothing because I can see it all right in front of me. The placement of everything makes sense now. I show everyone my perfectly organized by rainbow color underwear drawer. I never thought I’d be so proud to show off my undies.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am to the Sorted team. They have enhanced our lives and brought peace and tranquility into our home. I think about our Sorted family every time I step foot into our home and I will be forever grateful to them for all that they have done for my family.
